There probably isn’t a woman out there who hasn’t been asked to be in a wedding. And what’s the outcome? A dress, hanging in your closet, with a promise from the bride that you’ll ‘totally wear it again’. Long are the days of pastel taffeta nightmares, (at least I hope that’s the case), but there’s something taboo about wearing a dress in a wedding—no matter how versatile it may be—that voids it from any other event. Maybe we just use special occasions as an excuse to go out and buy something new. Ladies, have you donned a bridesmaid dress outside the chapel? Do tell.
