The last time I had chin-length hair it wasn't by choice. After using Sun-In everyday for a week, my brown hair turned bright orange and my mother had to take me to the salon to fix it. I knew something was wrong when after rinsing out the dye, the colorist refused to let me see the results. It turned out that my hair was so damaged from all the peroxide that the dye only worked from my roots to my chin. The colorist broke the news that I'd either have to cut off everything below or my chin or live with two-toned hair. I left six inches of hair and my dignity at the salon.
It took almost two years for my hair to grow back and I've kept it long ever since. I sometimes fantasize about cutting it all off, but I know how much I'd regret it.
Luckily, I get to live vicariously through Cosmo blogger Leo, who just chopped her shoulder-length strands into an edgy layered bob (it's longer in the front and super-short in the back). It's such a unique style that I think it should get it's own name-the Leo.

It's time for a change. We all know when that feeling strikes. How many of us have the courage to act on it? I'm not afraid to change mine. It grows really fast. I usually keep it at least shoulder length though.
I recently cut about 3 inches off. It isn't a radical change but it does feel fresher and has more style. I like it.
