It just wouldn’t seem right if Ralph Lauren wasn’t one of the week's closers. This Americana designer captured a denim look reminiscent of the styles during the 30’s. The line however is not that dark and deep as the great depression, as he sheds a positive, fun spin to the era with driving caps, boyfriend jeans, trousers and classic, denim overalls.
Calvin Klein showcased a very manly (and sexy), uniform, modern collection. Pops or orange, blue and red color created a whole new dimension to the line. And Isaac Mizrahi returned to the tents (after a hiatus), presenting a sleek and insanely chic collection with amazing textures and fabrics. Uber-short shorts seem to be the trend this year, and with accessories like scarves, bold necklaces, you can make it work.
Enjoy the rest of the final day with Allude, Trias and more of the world’s most elite designers, as they showcase their 2010 Spring collections for the world to see.
