Hello Savvy Style Seekers!

Although it was another day of umbrellas and rain boots in New York City, the tents were still packed with fashionistas. The weather doesn’t seem to get their love for fashion down.

Lacoste showed this morning and the runway consisted of breezy, beach looks. To get the point across, they built the runway to look like a boardwalk in shallow ocean water. I felt like pulling up a lounge chair and a good book. Crisp whites, yellows and blues seemed to be the main focus. Well, the main focus before the show actually happened to be Mischa Barton. Her appearance caused a big frenzy in the tent! Mischa’s former co-star of The O.C., Rachel Bilson’s fiancée, Hayden Christensen, was also front row. He was flying solo at the show with no sign of Rachel.

Christian Siriano showed this afternoon as well. He was a big contributor to Fashion Night Out on Thursday. Christian is designing a line of shoes for Payless---all the frugal fashionistas out there will enjoy this! Christian’s models floated down the runway in gorgeous dresses, his 2010 Spring line was very sophisticated and showcased Kentucky Derby style hats. Of course, the shoes were incredible! I love getting new shoes and his show inspired me to go shopping afterwards. I wonder if Tori Spelling felt the same way I did? She sat front row along with Kelly Rowland, Mena Suvari and the stunning model, Alessandra Ambrosio.

It was another great day under the tents. The good news? The weather is supposed to be bright and sunny the rest of the week! So far, the runway looks have been the same for Spring. Enjoy your Saturday night and don’t let the rain stop you from having a good time!
