Hello, Fashion Week followers!
OMG, what a day at the tents! We had to arrive at 10am today with the TRESemme stylists to begin prepping the models for Tracy Reese. Originally, the hair was going to be a messy size chignon with several loose pieces around the face, but Tracy emailed us over the weekend that after thinking about it, she wanted a huge pompadour and bun (thank goodness for TRES Two Hairspray!). I loved this idea – super girly with a bit of edge. And the final look complemented the outfits perfectly.
There was a ton going on backstage - we were crazed searching for models (several come from other shows so they’re running in at the last minute), doing press interviews and doing the hair! And the entire time Tracy was calm, cool and collected. She’s always so calm before a show and makes sure to say hi to everyone backstage. She’s just the best!
The show was beautiful! Tracy always creates such lovely designs – just makes you want to get dressed up. I found myself saying “I love!” after every look that strutted down the runway. Even better, she has three lines, so there are lots of options no matter your budget!
Celeb fans who sat front row included: Keri Hilson, Kelly Rowland, Reshma Shetty (of USA’s Royal Pains) Gabrielle Union, Ciara and Kim Kardashian (in a super-fabulous pink and black number), Nigel Barker, Ms. J (of America’s Next Top Model). Another show down! Brian Reyes tomorrow!

Femininity seems to be the trend for Spring, as the Tracy Reese 2010 collection graced the runway with an elegant, modern and upbeat vibe. To complete this look, TRESemmé stylists gave the models big, bold, full-volume pompadour updos using the TRESemmé product line. For full-volume style that lasts (pompadour or not) try the new TRESemmé 24 Hour Body collection at home. Lift your tired tresses with products that will give you body and hold for creating runway-ready styles. Best part is, it's fabulously priced!
