So long September Fashion Week!
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week has officially come to a close, and celebrities turned out in a major way for the final day of shows, which featured some of the biggest names in fashion – from Isaac to Calvin.
Tommy Hilfiger kicked off the day with fantastic nautical pieces. Lots of blue and white and stripes…made me sad summer was ending…and that I didn’t have a boat. Emily Blunt, Rosario Dawson (I love!) and January Jones all snagged front row seats.
Isaac Mizrahi’s show was like a Bravo reunion (Isaac is the host of Bravo’s The Fashion Show). Bravo faves, including Kathy Griffin, Fern Mallis and Andy Cohen all showed their support for the designer. Other attendees included Robert Verdi, Anna Wintour and Joy Bryant. Isaac is known for his use of color, and this was no exception – stunning designs in primarily black and white with splashes of color throughout the collection. He also used a ton of texture…the hats he used, however, I’m not so sure about.
Other celeb spottings on the final day: Naomi Watts, Taylor Swift (in a fab red number), Katherine Mcphee (sporting a new platinum bob), Hilary Duff, Yoko Ono, Michelle Trachtenberg, model Brooklyn Decker (and Andy Roddick’s wife), Mary-Louise Parker, Russell Simmons and Penn Badgley!
